Yes, you are right. The flight recorder has a software bug and that caused aileron / rudder move in opposite directions. As a result, I decided to use another recorder in the future.

Yes, it is risky when flying close to the mountain sides as wing-tip might hitting the mountain sides because of sudden wind/gust. That's why only a few number of pilots are certified to land at Paro International Airport.

For those who've asked before.. This is a Flight Simulator X or XPlane simulated playback video. The Flight Simulator softwares have gotten quite good last 15 years. But there is no real flight happening here.. and no 'drone' flying alongside to capture the video. :)

a little out of the real thing and sure enough you lost your right wing in the trees during the final turn but you lined up with the runway. There are some techniques for this approach, you are on the right track.

WELL CAN'T SAY MUCH ABOUT THE APPROACH AS NOT AWARE OF THE WPs, HOWEVER SINCE TOUCHDOWN WAS WELL IN THE AREA AND SMOOTH IF NOT A GREASER, SO I GUESS APPROACH WAS GOOD TOO. I HAVE NOT SEEN MANY GOOD TOUCH DOWNS AFTER A BAD APPROACH.

An alternative to this landing (Landing at Runway 33) is to land at the other end of the same runway (Landing at Runway 15).

There is not a chance in hell I would be on that plane. Too much motion, rugged terrain and you’ve got one shot at the landing. I have to look up the location, but it doesn’t look like a place I’d enjoy. While I, too, am calling it horrible, technically it’s not quite horrible, unless you’re completely sober and did not figure out ahead the final approach was through a canyon. At least the runway was long enough…

Thanks for your comment. Due to the fact that the airport locates in a valley surrounded by towering mountains, the runway was therefore built according to the shape of the valley.

I'm convinced you would have to be an idiot to fly regularly in Asia. I recently returned from Korea. While taxing out to the runway a jet took off literally right over our heads. By the time it passed over us it was no more than a 100' above our aircraft. The crazy thing is, while we were taxing you could see this plane accelerating for take off and our pilot kept heading towards the runway anyway.
