Hey guys here's a couple easy things you can try with your generator. Make sure you have good clean fuel, check your oil level, check your spark plug, pull your air filter out make sure it's clean and spray a couple shots of WD-40 down the throat of the carburetor, make sure fuel valve is turned on and choke is in the correct position. Good luck, I think I would be saving for a new generator that thing keeps causing you problems.

I use to work on small engines. Hard pulling can be a valve adjustment. They should be set at a min of .005 with a feeler gauge at top dead center. (both valves closed) Either you or any small engine shop can do it. Pick a nice day and take it apart on your tail gate. Thanks for your video!

Wow, nice video guys - we really enjoyed meeting you at AGM - its one of our favorite spots. Real bummer about the generator. We have one very similar (maybe the same) and so far, aside from not being able to start on propane (it will run on it after I get it started w/ gas) its been good - but we don't use it much - hope that is not in our future! Very interested to see what you end up doing. We camp a lot in California, and mostly free camping - there are some great choices. but the advantage of AGM - as you point out - is proximity to AZ prices for shopping/gas etc... Hello From Hanna, Alberta, Canada. Enjoy your videos very much. Here is a cheap suggestion to try to get your GENERATOR running. I have a similar unit that is a hard starter. (20 to 30 pulls).. To resolve this, I give about a 2 second spray of STARTING FLUID aka ETHER into the airbox. That has it start on the first or second pull. Also, it is important to run the GENERATOR, or any small engine, about once every 3 weeks for about 30 minutes to prevent fuel gumming inside the carburetor. Avoid ETHANOL fuel as it goes bad in a few days, and plugs up the carburetor requiring a carb rebuild to resolve. Use a good fuel stabilizer as well. I hope this tip solves your starting problem. AB Roadrunners is glad to see you are feeling better. Those generators are a pain in the tush. We had to have our auto level and jacks worked on but sometimes they have to go manual. We left Yuma at the end of March for a couple of doctors appointments plus Easter with Grandkids. BUT the plan change had 2 more appointments which got cancel due to both of us in ER sicker then a dog. We are ground in the Valley till doctor says we are ok. Told Grandkids stay away so they dont get sick. You both take car and stay safe. So glad you're better.

AST (Arizona Standard Time) transitions between PST (day-light savings time of the year) and MST (standard time of the year) There is a petition that I have signed every year for the past 8 years to transition PERMANENTLY to DST Also, one plan adds 3 or so time zones AND stops the DST idea altogether

NEVER HAVE A PROPANE TANK NEAR THE GENERATOR DUE TO STATIC ELECTRICITY? it should be at less 6 feet away from the generator , and up wind of the generators exhaust

From what I seen, looks like the cylinder may be restricted with oil or gas.....I would take the spark plug out and lean it over to see if any liquid comes out......may have had to much oil in the unit.....

harbor freight , Preditor 3500 or 2000, or if you can afford a honda. if you just need to charge and fluff things up go with the more affordable Preditors. if you go with the Preditors do what the instructions say in regards to adding the stabil and oil changes. or hook up your truck and let that be your generator,
