Horrific Fur Farm Footage from Animal Protection Norway and Network for Animal Freedom

Animal Protection Norway and Network for Animal Freedom reveals the new horror pictures from Norwegian fur farms. Fur industry has received numerous attempts to "improve animal welfare." Nevertheless, we can for the fourth time since 2008 reveal extensive animal cruelty on Norwegian fur farms.
A Government Committee is now considering (2012-2013) the industry should be prohibited in Norway. Fur farming can never be consistent with good animal welfare. We therefore expect that the government will start arranging fur industry.
In summer and autumn, the two animal protection organization made ​​unannounced inspections of 24 fur farms from Troms in the north to Agder in the south. Many thousands of pictures and several hours of video documentation from fur farms show that mink and fox suffering on Norwegian fur farms every day.

Minks are fairly vicious animals and when put in crowded conditions they are going to fight and maim each other. It is obvious however this fur farmer is pretty bad. The cage bottoms while expected to be wire (for cleanliness) are too wide mesh, causing feet problems, the cages too small causing stress problems and overcrowding causing biting wounds and diseases. While these animals are not "pets" they do deserve medical care and a proper space to live in. And even though they may have a short life span before they are harvested there is no reason why their cages can not be built to have space and objects for them to play on (tree stumps for climbing-rocks) etc. All this would help reduce stress biting and disease.

I had a pet fox, sweetest pet I ever had, my best friend. Foxes can be domesticated just like dogs and if people understood that many milleniums ago, we could have them as pets just like dogs. Some people may argument we can keep pigs and chicken as pets and such, but foxes actually are canines and very similar to dogs so my point is if we had them as pets now they would not suffer. They are not meat animals, they shouldn't be fur animals as well. Foxes are adorable and loyal, just after few generations of domestication. I know it because I lived my life with one beautiful adorable foxy friend. People should stop this nonsense just for their luxury, but well, we are a stupid race that never learns :/

😶 they were once free to roam and run where they wanted to. to be locked in a steel cage, only able to turn yourself around in a circle. the torment they must feel. the poor things are literally going insane.

Why do u waste an animals life if I'm pretty sure you'll wear that once and then it will sit in your closet even if u did wear it often dosent make the situation any better.
