Hello Robin love your channel fascinating facts and great stories. Would love to see if you know or can tell the tail of how hangman’s hall farm between Broad Campden and Blockley got it’s name. I lived there for 28 year’s but no one could tell us about that lovely farm’s past. Had such a wonderful time being raised there. Hope you can help. And thanks again for your channel. David Babey

Is it any wonder that so many of my ancestors chose to brave crossing the Atlantic in wooden ships rather than stay in such a country. My ancestors left England in the late 1600's and early 1700's and I'm thankful they did!

Let me get this straight-- an entire room full of people was so afraid of three crooked "policemen", they just let the cops run roughshod over 'em? They should've strung the cops up in the nearest tree right then and there. EDIT-- And the "jury" who acquitted the murderer.

I thought it was gonna be HAUNTINGS and such…..not prison reform in mid century England 😂🙄🤷🏼♀️ if that’s the only tale that was fairly boring and just depressing all around I got very unlucky cuz it came up right when I started ……let’s see if this 2nd story has some actual ghosts and not just the depressing state of the treatment of the poor in the world…..
