Annette Medina (Nanny) is my little sister and I think about her EVERYDAY! Thank you for telling the true story. Although I don't remember the victims being tied up as you suggested, you did a great job in your investigation and it is greatly appreciated. Nanny did want to be a police officer and she would have accomplished that goal! My mother did hear all the shots fired and the people running from the scene. She never imagined that Nanny would have succumbed to the shots she heard on this occasion. She thought Nanny was in her room sleeping. Also, the POS murderer (I refuse to say his name) left a red rose on top of the couch to show his wife that this massacre was her Valentine's Day gift. How more evil can you get?! Nanny had absolutely nothing to do with this drama! She had so many plans for her future and her baby's future. How this degenerate and his loyal goons thought they had the right to dictate the future of these souls is incomprehensible! I exercised my right of representing my family and giving an impact statement at the sentencing of each of these animals. Needless to say, they did not like what I had to say about my hopes and wishes for the misery of their future and their relationship with "Bubba" in jail. One of these jerks was vocally and physically reactive to my "Victim Impact Statement" Needless to say, I enjoyed that! I would like to honor Frances Montemonio from Bronx Crime Victims. She was amazing and very supportive may she rest in peace. I do believe in God and fear him but I cannot act as if I am holier than thou and need to forgive these guys for what they did. God help me, but there is just no way. It is sad is that three out of five of these demons are out of jail and free to be with their family and friends. They can watch television, they can eat, they can still have children, they can BREATHE, they can do all the things that my sister and these victims cannot! I just wish that we had been notified about the potential release of these individuals, as promised by the Bronx Crime Victims Office. We didn't even get a chance to speak at their hearings, as promised! It's ridiculous! My sisters, my mom, my niece and I would have been there to represent Nanny for each and every one of them! On another note, I think your channel deserves a lot of credit and you do a good job with your videos. Congrats! I subscribed to your channel and I will forward this channel to family and friends.

Wow, I am so sorry for your loss. I appreciate your kind words, I can't imagine what that must've been like. It's terrible that you guys weren't contacted about their release. That's the reason I make these. It's as if these things happen, there's no record of it unless you really search and the families are left reeling and feeling as if they're ignored while these people roam free. These names should always be remembered, and they were NOT just a headline to sell papers. This is real and it hurts and it affects many. I appreciate your comment, I know it can't be easy to listen to these details. I hadn't known about that rose detail. Thats mind blowing how people can THINK that way. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart and condolences go out to you and your family. Thank you!

Edwin did what he did on the streets, but was always a good dude!! Always showed me nothing but respect! Annette (Nanny) & Maria (Negrie) were always at my parties and we hung out a lot! Christopher would always ask to join but was too young at the time. I knew everyone in this story... There was a strong possibility that I could have also been there when this happened... and I'm still affected till this day... I miss them all... may they rest in peace.

My name is Olga Santana, relative of Julia, (Mom), Maria (Sister) and Edwin (Brother). It has been thirty years since, and I feel that horrible pain! They say that "time heal wounds", but not really! Sometimes when I talk about my family, I still feel pain and sorrow though"! What makes me feel better is that that criminal and his friends tried to finish our generation, yet I thank God that I'm still here, making sure that they all pay for what they did! Ding Ding wanted to kill my whole family, me included! He wanted to eliminate the Santana Generation, but he couldn't! I also feel sorry for Miguel Camacho Rivera, Christopher Hernandez and Annette Medina! Annette Medina (RIP) was a good friend of mine, but also of Maria Santana, they were always together back and forth! Yet he couldn't finish with my families generation because I'm still Here (Olga Santana)! Today I am 57 years old with three daughters and two grandchildren, so he couldn't finish with our generation! I'm still alive, and I'm still here making sure to pay for what they did! The ones that were sentenced to 15 years, are out already, yet cannot live in The Bronx, because of what they did. And also in 2001, I gave birth to my youngest, which I appreciate very much, because our generation is still here, so he couldn't finish with the whole family (that stupid prick)! Ding Ding will be in there for the rest of his days! He'll never come out and will never see the light of day! I also heard he was in Protective Custody what a punk, what happened? Wait a minute, with a gun he was very big and bad, but without it he was nothing but a punk, who I heard was on PC. In the bible it says, "forgive your enemies", but I don't think that I'll be able to forgive this". I just hope that God gives me the strength to go on, and maybe forgive! MAYBE! RIP. Julia, Maria, Edwin, Christopher, Miguel and Annette! Never Forgotten! I love you guys, and until we meet again! May God Bless All of you!

So I have a subscription to the NYTimes and I like to read articles related to the case after I watch your videos. It’s so crazy bc the articles give some many biases due to the location and ethnicity of the victims. I understand it was 30 years ago but it really brought me back to those times when unfortunately, race played such a huge role in everything. Especially, the amount of news coverage one gets.
@EvilIntentions Жыл бұрын
It's really insane. Thats a huge reason I handle my cases how I do. They have no idea the way this messes with families for the rest of their lives. Cases that I've covered like the Jenny Soto case, the college point massacre and others are always labeled as one thing because they don't care about our communities the same. Some of the journalists themselves cared a lot and they tried to get it to stop, but it wasn't easy. These women and children were more than just these headlines. Imagine your whole life being reduced to a few pieces of scattered info some stranger gathered up when they never even knew that person? There was a story i covered last year when the channel was new. A case where the papers painted a picture of this young 17 year old girl as if she was a problem child who got herself killed. The layers to that story. The negligence. The way she was blamed. I was forced to pull the story because the information that could be found was very little and very biased. Her sister contacted me and told me the truth and gave me a bunch of pictures and her blessing to put it out. Thats coming soon. I want to put nothing but truth out. I won't ever play the games these media outlets play.

The article written by the Washington Post is completely tone deaf and the writer spends more time idolizing the massacre of 1929. While only glossing over the Bronx murders as being about drugs and that no one would be outraged unlike if the victims were white. It was disgusting

As someone who is born & raised in the Bronx, let me tell you something…the main reason why we can never seem to bring down the crimes, is this “IM GONNA MIND MY OWN BUSINESS” mindset…goes hand in hand with the bystander effect as well…I hope we can realize that the only way we can truly prosper is by coming together & helping one another. The Bronx has always and can still continue to have so much talent and potential if we realize this.

as much as I agree with you. at the same time, if it's a dangerous gang and drug dealer situation, ppl are not gonna tell the police sht. they're more afraid to die at the hands of those dangerous ppl. its weird like that. and bc of that kind of mindset ...some ppl don't even call 911....

How he still have a thing for the sister (Maria) if he wanted to kill her brother for slapping his then girlfriend? Also, they both held him down. The other girl even bailed him out of jail lol People said that he was just using her, which is what men do when they go to prison, duh 😂😂😂 and the narrator said when he came home he ditched her… when was she ever given the chance to reject him when he went off to marry her friend?

It just lasted a few months but I had a sense that he was just running the streets with no guidance. Not making an excuse for this horrific crime. When I read the news about this case, it did not surprise me. It’s very sad for all the innocent lives lost. Senseless.

So true. But this also sheds light on Edwin as a person and his character because what type of man attacks a woman with a baby in hand, she obviously wasn't that much of a threat to his sister because she was holding the baby so as a man given the fact that she was a woman that's one but a woman holding the baby why would you strike her and then made the baby fall so I can understand where Anthony was upset not to where he took it to though like a good ass whooping you and your boys jump him or something but not murdering everybody in cold blood.
