Fun fact: M2 fitted on the top of a tank cannon is a real thing. It's outfitted when there's a high danger of snipers so you .50 BMG to counter both the range and whatever the sniper is using for cover and without a need to risk the a crew member on the top mounted .50 cal.

Neat fact but I’m pretty sure when rubix asked why it was strapped to the barrel was mainly because normally tank coax machineguns are mounted to the side of the main gun with the majority of the weapons body enclosed inside the turret.

@@raymurray3401 The normal coaxial is still there, they just mounted another .50 on the cannon probably so they didn't have to fuss to much with aiming it.

Yea but why not use the main gun with HEAT/HE or a cannister shell

@@TDB372 It's meant to be a part of the Urban Kit. The US also wanted to be more or less restrained in this period of time. If they are on a patrol and take fire from a building and it's not Fallujah someone else probably lives there or will come back to live there and .50 cal hole is lot easier to patch than 120mm shell exploding everywhere.

I think the sheer scale of the Great Desync Wave is what sets it apart. Over a mile of road becoming nothing but scorched asphalt and smoking metal carcasses. This one was fairly well contained to a single vehicle. More casualties, sure, but less scale.

Cypher on the Orcha was probably using the mod “Walkable Moving Objects.” It’s a client side mod, but it’s kinda frame rate dependent if you actually stay on your ride.
