Thank you! I tried my best to recreate all the parts just like the original. (I did have to alter the xylophone part in the beginning though, it's apparently very awkward to try to play!) The N64 Mario Party music is just too good!

This is actually my first time playing one! I actually tried a lot of different instruments for this song and nothing sounded right. I remembered my father in law had this at his house so I was like "hey can I borrow that??" 😆

Have you considered uploading looped versions of some of these covers? There are a good number of them that I’d love to just listen to for a while when studying/working/etc.

I've gotten a few comments asking for this actually. One thing I'm trying to figure out is how long to make the loops. Any input on that would be super helpful!

@@moshibass It might be a good candidate for a Community Post - perhaps a poll with some different loop lengths (5min, 10min, 30min, 1hr, longer) or something to gauge how long people would like the loops. I’ve also seen something about creating polls within each video - since each video might have longer/shorter preferred loops. I’ve seen VGM loops anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour. I personally would probably want to switch things up at least every half hour or so and create a playlist. Though, there was a Bob-omb Battlefield loop I used to study to that was probably 3 hours long. Another thought I have is that a loop request may mean someone just wants to listen to the song for a while. If the loop is too long for someone, there’s always the original version they can check out, or they can start halfway through or something. If a loop is too short, people can rewind to the beginning at the end or click replay. I’d probably listen to the Ballad of the Wind Fish for an hour+ while putting the kids to bed 😂

Thanks for the input, that was really helpful! I think the length will have to depend on the type of video it is, the kalimba ones could probably last longer like you said. I'll have to make a community post to get more viewer feedback. Part of why I've been slow to make looped versions is because I'm wondering if the original video will be affected in terms of showing up in searches and other browse features. If I create the loops, they will likely just be audio though with a static image on the screen.

Yeah, it doesn't stand out so well on a dark background. I've been thinking of making another bar and painting it a bright color for dark videos. Who knows if I'll get around to it though haha.
