I don't often get playtests from developers but I've ended up with 3 just before my massive Halloween spree, I'll be posting them a little earlier in the day than my normal time. There's still another one to go later into the month, they won't get counted in my "end of year" video (October 31st) because it's too late, but if you want to wishlist it or something there's a link in the description.

While "The king in yellow" by Robert Chambers referenced a place called Carcosa. It actually borrowed this and other elements from A book titled "an inhabitant of Carcosa" by Ambrose Bierce published 9 years prior to Chambers work.

I really hope the VA work isn't AI, or at least won't be for the final game. I've been waiting for a King In Yellow inspired horror game like this for years, hopefully they can stick the landing.

I'm pretty early into it, the full review is coming at the end of the month. I think there's a lot of weird choices in it but I think it's defintiely going to be more like the RE4 remake where it just sits alongside the original, where if you want a sillier more goofy experience you go for the RE4 original, or a more serious game you go for the RE4 Remake, except in Silent Hill's case, I think if you want more horror you stick with the original, but if you want a slower, more emotive experience, you go with the Remake. But, again, time will tell, I've only just finished the appartments. Been busy! ha.

@@HorrorReview I ended up really enjoying SH2R, far more than I had anticipated -- and I loved that my rather low expectations and numerous worries were dispelled. Can't wait to see your review of it. Cheers for these October videos and all others, of course, superb work as usual!
