@@bobtate6812 I am not sure "liberating" Crimea is a good idea. A big majority was pro Russia before than annexion (Around 70-75%) and it must be 95% now since pro Ukraine people have left. Both the US and Europe do not like that idea actually. The faster that war ends the better. Ukraine should just focus on other oblast. Liberating other oblasts should send Russian the right message. No need to create new problems for the next 30 years. What is important is people will and Crimea is the only region where Russia would easily win a real referendum.

There was supposedly 37 Russian attacks in a town near Bakhmut earlier today, and the Russians got decimated. It’s looking good. There are now Ukrainian special forces attacking the Wagner ranks from behind. The next 48 hours will be an important turning point I think.

Ive heard that they don't want to let go of Bakhmut because the city is destroyed anyway and cannot get any worse but a lot of Wagner Russians are getting chewed up disproportionately there. The reality in Ukraine is that attacks on urban places are extra hard, while defense is made easier. The decision may be about wasting Russian personnel much more than it is about geographical gains. Keeping Wagner group distracted in this one area is good because they are said to be more elite troops than the regular russian army.
