That last clip was trimmed down a lot. to add context, the Russians in the building were members of Spetznaz the fled from a BMP the Legion took out earlier. Just before this clip starts, the Legion breached the door and the point man was wounded, just after the second grenade was thrown and the clip ends, the Legion moves in to secure the building, and assist the wounded. Unfortunately as they were leaving Russian artillery hit the door. wounding about 12 and 2 KIA. it wasn't until after this the Ukraine tank rolled in to demolish the building. The wounded have since recovered. I feel its important to try and keep things in context. yeah it looks good that it appears were kicking ass, but need to remember its still at a cost.

More context by a Foreign Legion fighter called 'Eyugenero' who was NOT present on this operation but who WAS in ukraine with many of the people from the video, He wrote about this 3 months before the video came out... .."Well the guys were in a firefight with some Spetznaz who had barricaded themselves in the house my squad leader tried to talk them into surrendering on the edge of the house for about 30 minutes at the end some Russian came out with his hands up and no gun the American's squad leader shot him right in the head the spetznaz realise they have no escape route, start fighting to the death my squad leader tries to get out of the house russians shoots him between the plates in the side my squad leader dies at the hands of the Finnish medic minutes later while they're still fighting final words "im dying" and pupils shrink and lips turn pale after the American's squad leader shot the russian dude, the Finnish medic immediately asks the American's squad leader why he did it "fuck that guy" answers the American's squad leader in the morning a guy in a good mood tried to go and "do some CQB" in that house got shot in the head with a hole in the back of the head the size of a fist didn't die, apparently even obeyed simple orders while evacuating fell down from the ATV when the guys didn't tie him up properly is now on a ventilator in the hospital"

I've yet to see one evidence that those were Spetsnaz. And even then, Spetsnaz can mean very different things, from the SEALs-like special forces to some simple observation and recon teams. Some say they actually were the crew of the BMP that got wrecked, they settled in the building in hope to stay the night unnoticed. It makes the more sense to me, the BMP is very close to the house, and that would also explain why these foreign mercenaries didn't even know there were Russians in there and why we never hear them up until the breaching. They obviously didn't want a fight, they were outnumbered and ill-equiped for such a contact. Hearsay against hearsay, but one makes more sense than the other...

@@danieln9226 Loss of image/video quality, plus news outlets often write false and misleading stories about them due to the missing source information. It is poisoning the well because it can give an extremely misleading picture of what happened, in this case the fact that the Foreign Legion took heavy casualties due to an artillery strike after the spetsnaz were eliminated. This video has CIV DIV's watermark on it and a quick google search would bring you to the source and give all the information. The same sort of thing happens to AZOV footage where their watermark is on a video and yet it gets cut up and reposted to Telegram with all the information stripped from it with some Rammstein dubbed over the original audio. These news outlets should think to look at the watermark and atleast attempt to find the source

I hate when people compare real combat with "FPS video games". In video games, you don't have to wrap up your buddy's blown-up leg. You don't have to apply a chest seal because shrapnel punctured his/her lung. You don't come across dead bodies being eaten by hungry dogs. And you don't get to respawn after you die. My prediction, a group of Ukrainian pilots are already being trained on the F-16 in America. When the announcement comes, instead of waiting 6-12 months to have pilots, Ukraine will suddenly have the pilots shortly after the approval comes. The reason I say this, the American congress put $100 mil. in the defense spending bill for that specific purpose as far back as July 15. There is a very good chance they are already using that budget.

The point-man from that attack was wounded when entering the building and after they had cleared the building from Russians and were dragging the point-man out, a shell landed in the entrance and killed and seriously wounded some of the soldiers . A moment after this action, two of the volunteers were killed, and the rest were injured - as a result of the Russians artillery hit and possible small arms fire. The wounded still need our financial help to cover the costs of treatment and rehabilitation and there are collections for them on the Internet, which is described on the original channel. The last video shown didnt end that well. Yes the tank came in and saved the day! Yes they are very professional in clearing the house and they ran a very succesful operation. BUT befor the tank came, they got hit by an artilery-granade which killed 2 and wounded serval. The wounded are back up and fighting, but still this part was left out.
