@@albertchehade9916 I checked several details to find an answer : no fumes, no noise (so no gasoline powered generator). First idea : solar powered system with batteries, it would be a real problem to transmit power to perimeter devices (maybe another sets of batteries ?) but it can be the power source. I estimated the size of the roof and you may put something like 2-4kW solar panels on it (but with a lower yield, the cabin is located in a wood, not on a southern beach with little cover). Second idea : a thorium rtg but it's way ahead the reach of any regular citizen.

But to keep all his security services on line, with back spares (remember one camera got shot out) there would have to be some external energy source storage, which would make it an Achilles Heel to his bare existence. Nonetheless, being both frugal and vigilant, he may be a long term survivor. Just has to be careful of a couple of things.....not to be caught by his daughter, and to give strangers 3 verbal warnings, then fire a shot towards them as their LAST warning. Remember also that THAT arrow jammed his door.....he almost became a victim but for his quick thinking and ease of removing that errant arrow, plus the shot that killed his immediate threat, Ammunition resupply, basic food items, clothing, toothpaste, tp.....et al....... Hard Life.

​@@albertchehade9916 I totally agree with you. Relying on technologies you can't replicate is like a "leap of faith", it can be functional for a time but no more. RTG's have decreasing energy yield (depending mainly on half-life and a part on thermic coupling yield), solar panels have a limited duration and batteries have a memory effect. Back spares (for moisture, wild life or intruders damaging act) need a lot of space and are also a weakness. I wondered about his "low tech rifle" compared to the shiny AR-15 (I think it's an AR-15 but sorry I never have such in hand so I only guess) handled by the "bald guy", this rifle seems to operate with smokeless powder and it can be used with homemade powder (with many risks : barrel deterioration, misfire...). It may be also related to the location former firearms regulations, the character may not had time to fill the papers to get one modern weapon (all the character seem to be quite in good shape so the "zombie-werewolf-whatever" apocalypse may have happened recently).

TBH a lone person in the woods vs 3 guys is quite good odds in a desperate situation but dude. Just fuckin give up after the steel(?) barricades came down. I absolutely love this channel! Alter should have millions of subscribers! I get so excited when I see a new video has been put up! Every video on this channel is amazing! They could all be turned into full length movies! All the actors are awesome, the stories are intriguing and sometimes hard to figure out but that's what's so cool about them..
