Very unexpected. Original and at the same time old fashioned. And surprisingly timeous. As a child I was obsessed with snow globes - they were the most fascinating thing my little hands could hold. And the most magical - especially since I grew up in South Africa where snow is confined to the highest mountain peaks. A very chilling tale. Well executed indeed

Solid and delightful film. My Christmases have been good. I did have a great Uncle who consistently tries to disrupt Thanksgiving. He would sit down and say "I don't care what happens today as long as the G.D. Dallas Cowboys don't win. You know Dallas killed my President." He hated everything associated with Dallas. Guess who was born in Dallas? Me. The Thanksgiving after he passed I quoted him and my Mother pulled me aside and said "That's not as funny as you think it is." Here is to you Uncle Doc. A great short film which was wicked and fun. Peace

@@LifewithLaughter This is a quick synopsis of the story. I remember reading back in 1984 in 3rd grade. The video is the same couple 20 years later.>>>> The Gift of the Magi" is a short story by O. Henry first published in 1905. The story tells of a young husband and wife and how they deal with the challenge of buying secret Christmas gifts for each other with very little money.

This is a fun and wicked film of Christmas Horror. Is it possible her afterlife will be forever trapped in a Snow Globe of reliving the end over and over? Maybe. Now and forever. The narration and music worked very well. Watch out for those wine and cookies. Thanks to all involved. It was a slick diversion for the Holiday season. Great work. Peace.

Christmas as it currently is is a Christian holiday and the horror of the religious holiday is what many find fun about it Taking it back to the pagan roots that were removed and bringing it back in horror, is very satisfying and therapeutic!

This was really good, the music is so cunning to listen too, makes you scared about what's going to happen. Who starred in this, and who is the producer? How long did it take to plan all this? The end was weird, cause both the man and woman died b/c of choking on the cookie, and drink.

I liked how she moothly pulled a switchblade knife out of nowhere! It was a funny counter to the gentle Christmas atmosphere. The ending got me -- I did not see that ending coming! Y'know, it might be funny if at the end of the narrator's final words, he starts coughing too! Maybe with a surprised "What the..." And then Mrs, Narrator could take over and finish up with some attitude!

I wonder if anything can be compared with a fast fast fast death for a husband to be eating a poisoned cookie, compared to his wife who experience a slow, slow slow death from drinking poisoned wine. And then, to previously have the wife to choose her presents in the order to which she has chosen to open herself, from the past, present and the future. And then, to make it even more confusing is the narration that concludes the movie to which it then, appears to be more shocking than the fate that fell for the wife and her husband.

@@ninabjorklund7629 I learned at age 5 to question Christmas when ‘Santa’ had always delivered gifts to my grandmother’s house several days before Christmas. It confused me as a kid; so as I got older I was curious about the Christmas holiday and how it began. After digging and reading as much as I could when time allowed, I found from many sources that the Christmas holiday was based on things that came from the tower of Babel times( for example) and many of the things related to Christmas were quite different than what is told today; or distorted over time; hiding the beginnings of the holiday. The main things I found out made far more sense than the mainstream belief of Christmas being Jesus’ birthday.
