This is also what many doctors, nurses, and teams have to do on the regular -- to decide when to call a time of death, to stop working to resuscitate, to close up a surgery knowing that the result was far too gone, that the patient will not live much longer. When a transplant goes bad, or treatment must end, it all has to be so horrible. To tell a parent their child cannot be saved. I can't imagine having that sort of job. In America to have to tell a patient they cannot have any more treatment due to lack of insurance. So many layers to this story. So many comparisons to modern life.

I have watched countless Alter shorts, and many were deeply moving and powerful. I’ve never commented - just not what I do. But this…this was beautifully filmed, and deserves a full length movie.

I loved this after working with COVID-19 I can appreciate the heavy heart of the medical doctor who was talking with the man about his wife's symptoms. For every life that's lost one is saved great job guys.

Decision making can come with its own level of horror. This film explored that. It excelled in pacing and showed us exactly what we needed to know. It then delivered the punch. Thankfully were also given some hope at the end whih is satisfying. This was well crafted and I enjoyed it. Thanks to all involved. Peace.

I do love me some zombies, but this one definitely plays at the heart. The dad has to make the decision to either save his baby or chance himself infecting her 😟 my lord alter has been nothing but *Chefs kiss* masterpieces on here. it was so emotional ...I can't find enough words to describe it ... all what I can say is that I loved the new concept of zombie apocalypse ... I enjoyed the soud effects so much the sad breathing ,the calm in the alarm's soud ...the acting make you feel that you are there feeling their fear , their pain and their sadness....I would love to watch other sequals of this amazing team

I think that also explains the title ,,Spoiler" - when signing the cards of the infected family, the man had hesitated to sign the daughter's card, because he wasn't sure she will not survive. This kinda foreshadowed what happened next, the sacrifice of father for his child. It was worth for me to watch for second time🤯

this video is surprisingly low quality for the standard other alter films have set. all the actors are either speaking in a hushed tone or are muttering, and the audio mixing is terrible too it's hard to understand what they're saying most of the time and it would been tolerable if they used youtube's built in subtitles function (which is free) to supplement that but for some reason they didn't. I get that alter movies don't have big studios to back them financially but the problems here are directorial and not financial

Well, that was extremely disappointing. Aside from poor sound quality at numerous points throughout, it's just ridiculous. Are there no SWAT teams in the future? Someone with gas masks who can break the door down and shoot the woman? Not to mention the fact that, despite gas going into the baby's room from the den, it was somehow saved from being engulfed in flames.
