This was the most fucked up thing I've seen in a while....truly horror! The sadest thing about this is that this shit actually took place. People were tortured if they did anything those in charge didn't agree with. There was no judge or jury, no true justice system. You could be completely innocent, and it didn't matter. If someone accused you the likelihood of being able to convince them of your innocence, it was next to zero. This is one of the many reasons I'm so thankful to live in today's society. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than this.

The Spanish Inquisition had nothing to share with religion, but with cruelty if some gruesome souls of men in search of power, using religion as an easy way to reach it. And with the villagers who had joy in seeing others suffer like in the arenas of the Roman Empire. Nothing of it has something to do about religion, but with the cruel nature of men themself. Biriliently terrifying horrer movie..very well narrated so that the Pain of those women's feel to me.. Brutal but true.. Truth is more brutal than screen.. This one was hard to watch in the end, not as long (obviously), but the last few minutes were just as visceral as the French ( real version, not the bastardized Western version) of ‘Martyrs’. I imagine you were even influenced a bit by it? Fantastic job, all the way around. To make me feel that furious, horrified, and that uncomfortable all in such a short period of time. THAT is why we watch horror!

Folk making films have all sorts of problems to surmount, finance being one of them. Translations cost money, unfortunately. The film maker with a low budget often cannot afford translations, except into English, which will reach the highest audience, as it is the most commonly spoken language on the planet. I once saw, about eight years ago, someone, here on KZbin, in the comments section, offer to translate a film into another language for free. I've seen some films, again, here on KZbin, eventually being translated into several languages. I'm guessing viewers of the films have offered their service for free or films have been good enough to win awards and cash prizes, so have been able to then afford to pay for professional translation services.

Wow! The acting here was truly amazing in just a short film. Maybe the best I've seen. His daughter should have kept her feelings within her own walls only - regardless as to how right/correct she was. And she should not have gone out there making trouble nor making her feelings known in public. Then she would've been safe from that awful fate. But instead her actions did not help the situation - not for anyone - least of all "herself". How could she possibly have thought that just "one" girl all on her own could "change" anything?!!!
