Creepy claustrophobic visuals, like being trapped in a loveless marriage would feel like. Maybe I need a sequel with Alice actually defeating her own demon tho to spin the story from the usual “poor girl was just possessed and then she kinda died” trope

Maybe their unwillingness to forgive her has drove Alice to believe that she's evil enough not to be forgiven - and that's what made her possessed. Kind of like the story of the man who embarassed himself at church. He was condemned by the believers. His wife told him to confess. He was somewhat driven away. So, he went to a bar and there, he was pampered. That's why he kept going back in there. It's a metaphor for sinning. Their humiliation, their rejection of her - instead of giving time for forgiveness - made her into the devil that they all feared. Thanks for reading. Just my two cents. 😋

I disagree on the part about them being unwilling to forgive her. It's really hard to forgive someone who lies to your face when you know the truth. The one lady blatantly points out that she thinks her husband is having an affair. She was simply hoping/waiting for Alice to actually tell the truth.

I think they kept questioning what alice was hiding for a reason. I think the affair and sins she confessed to were not her real sins. Her real confession was her being perhaps easily possessed, which explains why she says "she wasnt in control for the affair" as she could have also been possessed for the affair. If you look at the start the way it zooms onto her face tells you she perhaps regained control over her body. She also holds her stomach(where the legs come out) right at the start after the face zoom.

Or, if you think you might like live improv horror acting, consider auditioning for and training at local haunted houses. Almost all haunted houses need actors for the Halloween season; and good haunts will work with whatever strengths or weaknesses you have as an actor to place you in a room as a character that brings out your best skills. I always wanted to act in the horror genre- ended up in a haunted house six years ago, and I’ve been in love with scare acting ever since!
