People in academia have spent entire lives constructing, studying, defending and critiquing a myriad incredibly nuanced branches and interpretations of feminism often in direct conflict with each other. This is just bottom of the barrel stuff from someone that read in a blogpost that feminism is being angry at the closest man when he brings up a piece of meaningless folk science to sound smart. Let's say you want a conversation about feminism in your short. Person A could bring up how women are paid less. Person B says that women are paid less because they tend to work different fields, not paid less for the same job. Person A replies that women are culturally conditioned from childhood into picking fields that are associated with women and which suspiciously happen to pay less, and away from the manly high-pay jobs. Person B says that's true for some fields like engineering but not for others where men literally have biological advantages. Person A says how it's weird then that some jobs are better for men and others for women but women's misteriously so happen to pay less. B says that jobs pay based on value produced. And A says that value is determined by the market and the market is society, so value is just society's subjective opinion, and it so happens than society values what women produce less so if anything that's an indictment of society as patriarchal. And so on. This is not a very advanced conversation but something you'd hear in a class debate of sociology sophomores. But at least it involves two functioning brains. A woman claiming men and women are precisely the same in literally all ways and only later catching herself about physical stuff and framing it as a reluctant concession is the kind of bottom of the barrel sludge you'd hear in a strawman from a mysogynist attacking feminism.
