Oof! That's a bummer of a job. I did it for 9 1/2 years and wasn't happy the whole time. I will say that I wish I had this channel to help me through a lot of dull days. Thankfully I had the full set of the lord of the rings books on cd. I mustve listened to it at least 25 times from start to finish. Anyway, best of luck. If I can offer any advice, don't stay If you feel like your spark is fading out.

I know Conan isn't, strictly speaking, horror, but there are many Conan stories by Howard that are either centered around or have a prominent element of horror. Add to the fact that general consensus (as well as the authors) places it in the same world as Lovecraft's stories, much like Smith's Hyperborean Cycle, and I feel that there is a good argument for Ian Gordon narrating Conan stories with his **divine narrative voice**

Great story and narration! I love it! It is an excellent adventure story, filled with sci-fi and esoteric lore! Written in the same style as "The Fire of Asshurbanipal." Love me some Howard! He really liked to use the last name "Brill". I always wondered if he eventually would have weaved a family story together if he lived long enough. Keep it up! This was a real treat and made me chuckle. Thanks!

@@HorrorBabble I need to do some more reading on Howard.
