Looks great, I like the CTF. But the music is clipping my headphones

Hi Clive, Love the idea of your system, struggling with the nerve to dive in on my small acreage of heavy soil. What seed/mix rates are you using for your cover crops? Son came on one of your tours when he was at Harper and I think said you were mixing you own cover crops mainly from home produced crops at the time working on the theory that any growth is better than no growth, is this still the case or do you buy in specific mixes?

Superb. Really good to see. Do you kill the cover before or after drilling? Would be great to see how the beans are doing?

Hi Mr. Clive. The Horsch drill has 25cm rows. Is it too big? Because the price and the width of 12m are tempting. Thank you.

Would you show us how the field is now? In April. Good birth?

Hi Clive :) How well does the Fendt 724 handle 12m / 48 row air drill ? Have there ever been any occasions when the horsepower was simply not enough ?

It's a good match, runs out of traction before power is an issue, if you had steep hills you may want a bit more power

Hi Clive from Australia! Great video, and great info, thanks for sharing! I am interested in your thought about the Avatar, as we currently run a John Deere 1890

We do agents for Horsch in Australia, but only in the Eastern states at this stage, and our farm is in South Australia. We have been doing some cover crops when the season allows it, unfortunately the last 2years it has been too dry over our summer; great for harvest but not for a cover crop. I like some of the ideas on the Avatar design, as it does look a far simpler and more compact design than our JD 1890 and JD 1910 aircraft combo. We too are now on 12m spacing with 3m wheel track, so the same as you are. How does the Avatar air cart handle Barley, Oats and Beans? Does it have an agitator above the metering system so it won’t lodge inside the metering system? I have seen a demo video of how it works, but I couldn’t see anything like this on the video. Sorry for the long comment, but would love to here more about the Avater as in another year or earlier we may be looking at upgrading. Keep up the good work, and hopefully your harvest will be better than expected!🤞👍

Impressive. Did you bail the wheat straw before putting in the cover crop?

Ty Fullback chopped wheat straw, cover crop zerotilled with same drill
