How can a person locate a logger which uses work horses, or mules, and the area of Somerset Kentucky?

Shorter horses are ideal in the woods; taller horses are better at removing branches with their heads. A new, show-room floor mechanized logging "side", is worth about a $million-and-a-half. Good luck getting your money out of that.

I'm looking at a haflinger team. Are they a suitable horse for the job?

These are Suffolk Punches - a draft horse breed from England. Much bigger than Haflinger.
