It's interesting to note that since this film was made, (apparently some years before it was posted here) the average number of thoroughbred foals born in the USA each year has dropped from around 35,000 to 22,000 - 23,000 or so.

I inherited a horse named starlight she hasn't raced in 4 years and her best position was 8th she is 7 years old not a thoroughbred though I want £2000 for her. I cannot afford her any longer
