Why do you have to have the horses chin so tucked into their necks so much. I do not like it at all. It is not fair to the horse, and some professionals have the chin dangerously pulled into the neck. Horses do not naturally hold their heads this way. It is really quite dangerous and impinges their airways. This is only done for vanity and not in the horses best interest.

@@wendydavies1301 Hi Wendy, it is never our goal to have our horses chin tucked in to their necks. However, we are not perfect and neither are our horses, so at points we may be forgiven for imperfections. This is, however, the reality that we live in. We always endeavour to do better. If your issue stems more from the fact that you just don’t like when a horse is "on the bit", then this is where we differ. Training horses correctly, on the bit, is done for good reason. If we can achieve good engagement through the horse’s back and top line, we can take more of the horse’s weight to their hind legs. This in turn helps to promote longterm soundness in ridden work. Hopefully this quote from Alois Podhajsky, former director of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna helps: “Only correct riding, where the horse works in a proper outline with engagement from behind, lightness in the front, and freedom of movement, can ensure long-term soundness. Poor posture and incorrect training create physical strain, leading to premature wear and injury.”

Please check your audio, one voice per ear for Bluetooth headphones is nauseating and inaccessible to many viewers. Dont know why so many equestrian vids do this

Thank you for your feedback, and I completely understand how that could be uncomfortable for viewers using Bluetooth headphones. I’ll make sure to take this into consideration for future videos and try to ensure that the audio is more accessible. We want everyone to enjoy the content, so I appreciate you pointing this out! I’m still new to editing so I apologise for any imperfections in our content.
