MY LAST CHANGE-OF-CAREER BABY POSTED A TEN YEAR UPDATE, LAST WEEK. WHEN I SENT HER ON, IT FELT LIKE DYING, BUT, SHE'S LIVED HER VERY BEST LIFE, AS A MOST LOVED FAMILY MEMBER. I WOULD NEVER WANT TO TAKE THAT, FROM HER. INDEED, I AM MOST GRATEFUL. BE WELL. ONWARD AND UPWARD.

Horses are the toughest industry to be in, you can't help getting attached, then you find a potential genius and they become valuable, you then wonder what if the next hack/ schooling or competition goes a bit wrong and you have lost everything, I am positive that the home you found will be 5* and you can enjoy watching him progress, don't worry this crap year is almost over so onwards and upwards for 2024 xxxxcc

Will miss the fabulous Kato, but I always would trust that you were doing the best for your horses. Glad that Zeb is OK & can compete, so good of you to keep Max on rest, it must be a disappointment for you but it shows how much you care for your horses. Maybe it's meant for you to be concentrating on Erol just as he's coming into his own. In any case, you & your horses are winners in my book!

I’ve been following you for a long time and my horse of a lifetime is approaching 22 . I’ve had in the back of my mind for a couple of years that I’ll need to start looking for the next one. I’ve always wondered & worried how I’ll find a new horse to fill his shoes…..watching your videos of kato with you and your dad gave me the reassurance that there are horses out there that are like my boy (very similar in temperament and talent). So thankyou to you and Kato and your dad & im honestly over the moon you found him his perfect home, I did seriously think about your ad when he came out, I just didn’t have the funds. So happy he’s found somewhere and you are happy with your decision x

Thank you for the update Ashley, am so sorry that Zeb and Max have been poorly, but they both look fabulous in this vlog, fingers crossed for both of them for full and complete recoveries. Thrilled that Errol is ok, and am so looking forward to his future. Kato, oh crikey, no secret I loved him, but totally understand your decision, you have to have a good balance that works for you, and we all know you would not have made that decision lightly, and you have found him a wonderful new home, where you can see him and get updates, that's great, if allowed, please do let us know how he is from time to time.

When you mentioned selling Kato last year, I would have made an offer if I had the money. He's the sort of horse that I should have. If opportunity presents itself, there will be a Kato type of horse in my life. Watching him take care of you and your father, convinced me that perhaps a horse more suited than my current behemoth would be a good idea.

Oh I’m going to miss seeing Kato! I loved that horse, and if I actually did eventing (or even just needed another good show jumper), I would have loved to buy him. Life takes many turns. I love all your horses and sometimes the best decisions are the hardest. House, horses, husband=life. Glad the boys are getting better. Glad you listened to your gut. Thanks for the updates, so very glad Max and Zeb are fine (that colic is really scary to even think about 😰) I believe Erol is going to turn the corner and surprise you with how good he is, there is just something.... Kato, Kato yes remember you talked about selling him but only to the right home then he stayed and both you and your Dad enjoyed him. Hard decision to let go but - he is close by, in a one horse home but Tweezledown he'd have horse neighbors. Someone else said it but yes the question is "Who's your Dad gonna get saddle time on now?"....🤪
