Great video Amalox! I found a little trick that might help some people who aren't able to get this down. At first i landed on my bottom left corner and wave dashed forward thinking it would work. I tried this for days and it never seemed to work. Then today, i realized to not wave dash forward after landing on my bottom left corner, but instead wave dash to the top left. This seemed to work much better! If you are landing on your bottom right corner, wave dash to the top right. If you are landing on you top right corner, wave dash the bottom right. If you are landing on the top left corner, wave dash to the bottom left. I hope this helps!

No. you only press jump when you need to wave dash forward or backwards. I recommend learning wave dashing first.

4 hours in, a tear down my face after the 1,200 times of trying and failing but Mama aint raise no bitch so ill let yall know when it is complete, Edit 1: was able to get a chain of 3 after going into private match and going into slow mo Edit 2: learned that you dont instantly need to press jump because i kept trying and jumping before the wheel hit the ground

Fun fact: all i practice is something not useful, only flexable things like horse dash, ceiling shuffle and breakdance. I like to vibe at random Private matches or tournament waiting place, and so these.

Anytime I try to practice this I just wavedash forward and can't hit another wavedash fast enough. Like we Jen you do it you multiple wavedashes and stay in one place I just go forward then do another wave dash like half a second later. So I can't do the horse dash halp

GGs man, I couldn't understand how they did it and couldn't see much on the twitter compressed videos so I was wracking my brain not understanding how they did that but turns out I was focusing too much on the flips rather than on the "landing". Thanks a lot it made understanding that a lot easier, but now i'm kinda stuck because I can't spam front and back quick enough. After doing this mechanic some more I feel like the most important part is how much you angle yourself to the right/left and the timing with dashing/angling your stick back and forth. I've stopped angling myself back when I initially jump and just only angle myself to the right. As soon as one of my wheels hit the ground I dash forward and almost immediately backward. Once you've done that your cars should be wheelie-ing on the back 2 wheels and from that point you can starting doing the back-and-forth wavedashing motion. I'm afraid I can't really provide much more help than that. Good luck getting the mechanic down though!

I just did it on KBM and I'm a controller player so it's definitely possible! Timing is just tricky and I think it's definitely a bit easier on controller but if you practise you'll certainly be able to do it eventually!
