Super cool to see the classy flip. I just started getting into rocket league. Made it to about Plat 1 season 7. I was messing around in 1s and started a dribble, jump and 180 spin then back flip to flick it into one of the corners. @@uLa5er Looking back I was always doing it the right way. My problem was that in the musty speed flip tutorial i hit the "gas" button 0.1 millisecond before boost button. When I fixed that I got to the ball all the times. The more you know. Fun looking back how much one has improved in a year.

For speed flips use air roll left as well it makes it so much easier

There’s an easier way to do a speed flip by using air roll right or left. When you hold air roll left or right and do a front flip, it turns into a perfect diagonal flip. After that you quickly cancel it and bing boom, speed flip without the super precise joystick movements. Sorry for your pain and suffering. If anyone sees this I hope it helps you.

@EL1TE PICKLE With the instructions above, this should be considerably easier than any air dribble. The method he posted actually makes speed flips by far the easiest mechanic on the list. Maybe still tough at bronze 3, but definitely one to incorporate. I't say it's around the same difficulty as half flips.

The speed flip was actually so easy to do (not master) it's literally just flip diagonally and instantly cancel but only vertically, you don't cancel it completely diagonally, I'm sure with a bit of freeplay practice I can master it in no time (and yes, I'm gold 3, sunless is right, even low ranked players can do it)

It's not hard to learn (even a full air-roll air dribble is more difficult to do). You want something that is hard to do ? A reset musty backboard reset, or a ceiling musty reset backboard double touch.

speedflip: at the first jump put your stick to the right botom so that your car will turn a bit. second jump go with your stick to top left then immediatly go back to the bottom right to flip cancel. At the end if needed use slide to keep momentum. The most important step is the first jump with your stick to the bottom right. So that your flip goes straight to the ball. Aiming on the ball so that you will hit it perfectly at the kick off so that it goes to goal. That is something I only do 1/50. Just started playing this game 3 weeks ago and the speedflip was kinda easy to learn.

The first mechanic I learnt was the speed flip lol. It wasn’t that hard but it was the aiming and not shooting off course being the hard part but still was not bad

that’s debatable. the 9260 has better benchmarks and a better cpu than the nzxt. but in the other hand the nzxt one has a better sleek look to it and is not too far behind in benchmarks.

If you are in bronze, you should watch Sunless's WYSARL if you haven't already to improve your gamesense and if you want to learn mechanics you should first learn fast aerials and maybe half flips since they are commonly useful. or lol just do kutzer pinch

I'm in Gold II and the speed flip is like the first thing I wanted to learn. So I just sat down, watched a couple videos, and grinded it until i got it lol I can now speed flip mostly consistently and it makes me feel way better at the game than I actually am XD

Im at champ rank and I cannot air dribble or do most of the fancy things these competetive players do but for me being able to identify whats coming at me has helped me be able to counter it. I hope I'll learn to control as good as a pro one day 🙏
