This is DEFINITELY the route I would go. I love the sound on my ZR1 and Dana's Z06 sounds pretty much exactly the same now!

These were some of the exact issues I had when I did my install. I found moving the car all the way down to M gave me just enough room to wiggle it free. It was that same side that I couldn't get the AWE pipe to connect to the other pipe because it was angled almost like a muffler tip would be, longer on the top shorter on the bottom. I had to cut a sliver off to make it a straight cut and then install was simple from there. I have also seen a few other install videos on this exhaust where they had the same issues. I hope AWE sees those and potentially fixes those issues and updates instructions. Having to undo the shift linkage is an extra PITA step lol. But sounds great as always.

Yeah the automatic definitely has an extra step. Undoing that shift linkage sounds way scarier than it actually was, though.

There's no question AEW is the way to go exhaust note is much more deeper and blocking your car's key fob signal is definitely cheap insurance have to make stealing your baby as difficult as possible.

How do you think it would pair up with the bora X-pipe? Too loud? That’s what I currently have, with stock axel back. Looking for just a touch more, but I’m worried about drone as well..

It's the touring edition. No drone, but a great sound!

@jackdawson3983 understood! Although, I’ve never noticed it being too loud. If you stay off the gas it’s pretty quiet when you need it to be!
