Loved this video! My neighbor has taken in horses seized by state animal control for many years. Her farrier has saved many of those horse's lives over the years. Sweet horses in pain from neglect who just needed to be brought back to health to go on to lead happy lives with the right people. It's all about the feet, with horses. Farriers are heroes, and what you do is an art.

You, kind sir are a magician! The man that keeps the most crucial part of the horse in good nick! As a horse owner myself, my farrier is a highly respected in my world..... thanks for doing such a wonderful job with this cute and very well behaved horse!
@gottathinkupanewone5 жыл бұрын
Dunny's a very cooperative horse. He deserves a better name than a synonym for an outhouse! Some horses are so unwilling to have their feet handled, the farrier puts a twitch in them -- which, naturally, only makes them head-shy. Dunny has clearly been handled often, well, and kindly.

The horse is so calm and obeying through this whole process, he really trusts you! I bet it must of felt so good for the horse to get a new pedicure :) what a good boy and you did a great job
@ohcharlie25414 жыл бұрын
@Depressed Freak it's for the horses own well being, the horseshoes protect his hoofs from his own weight and trauma that could happen to the nail when the horse is running or doing different tasks, i know the process of putting on the shoes on must of felt uncomfortable for the horse but after that was done, i bet he felt much better
@ohcharlie25414 жыл бұрын
@Depressed Freak also, i assure you that the horse felt no pain whatsoever, his hoofs are not like our nails, for the horse it's literally like getting a pedicure
