crows are actually really smart, I would honestly not be surprised if one was actually able to discern you were mad at it and try and bring you shiny gifts to apologise

related fact: corvids are vocal mimics just like parrots and can copy human words (I've heard of a pair of crows at a sanctuary who literally enunciate the word "caw" at people who visit because it's been said to them so often)

it's true crows are extremely intelligent. my grandma is friends with the crows living around her neighborhood and she feeds them peanuts so she keeps extra peanuts in her car to feed them on the go and the crows remember what her car looks like and follow her when she drives until she feeds them. they're pretty chill and sweet actually and they hang out in her backyard so much that we can differentiate between them now and have given some of then nicknames.
@kittecat9634 жыл бұрын
@@garfieldbrooks my grandma used to feed crows and call them her chickens. It's been years since she passed but we still find random shiny things, like bottle caps and broken vase parts, on her grave. It's only her grave and there's always crows around.

I made friends with the trio of crows in my neighborhood, and they are terrifyingly smart. If I get home from work late or otherwise don’t feed them on time, one will sit on the ledge by my bathroom window and bang his beak on the glass. Another one has learned English. Every time I go outside to feed them I call “Sweet baaaaabieees~” and one will now repeat it over and over while he paces around waiting for food. It’s not perfect copy of my pitch or voice or whatever, and kinda sounds like he’s saying “sweat bees”, but you can tell he’s trying to mimic me. They bring me all sorts of cool things that they kinda don’t want me to touch or move. Things like granola bar wrappers, pull tabs off of soda cans, nuts/bolts, little metal things, and feathers from other birds. They like to set it down on the ledge and when I try and take it, they pick it up and then set it back down again. Less gifts and more “look at this pretty garbage I found! I’m going to leave it on your patio, thanks.” and now I have a little pile of precious bird garbage behind one of my potted plants. They have such personality too. Grell is LOUD and the one who can speak. William is impatient and bangs on my window until I feed them. Ronald just kinda hangs around and eats and moves his favorite trash around. They’ll all land on my arms and pull at my hair if I T-pose when they’re nearby. I love my odd boys.

I have seen the pattern now. Pickle, horse, pickle, horse. This is the cycle of the universe, which holds the eternal balance. Pickles beget horses. Horses beget pickles. I understand.

One of the best episodes, and the best part is the hesitance in Griffin's voice when he says unless thinking, as we all are, "how is he possibly going to turn this around" but against all odds Travis absolutely nails it. Honorable mention: Justin producing the names Calgrani and Billatoosh out of thin air.
