I was so excited when this kit was released, and I also bought the night fighter version when it was released! All these years later, they remain in my stash. I have heard about construction issues, and was hoping to hear more about them. Nice job on the project! I do have all four scales of the Zoukei Mura version, and will likely focus on them. I did actually build the 1/144 scale plane already.

Now that the Zoukei Muras have arrived, sadly, the old dragons seem to have become good old memory reminders now. ZM’s hortens are just ‘WOW’ items with superb details. @@EddiesGarage When Dragon did a re-release I picked up a second day version as it had been several years since the original issue. It was not long after that Zoukei Mura announced the 1/32 scale version they would produce. I was actually able to pick up the combo kit with the 1/72 and 1/144 planes directly from them at the IPMS Nationals. They sold out of their supply in two days. Thank you for your kind comment! As for the fitting problems, the one with the nose and the fuselage is the worst. I had a really hard time closing the canopy tight, and just gave up on it. The engine lids(?) need some work, too.

@@EddiesGarage not the rocket, the powered 2nd prototype Ho9 that was destroyed on landing due to engine failure resulting in an unrecoverable spin.

This is pretty old and notorious for bad fit. Zokei Mura's Hortens are the best across every scale despite their high price.

That's a display stand from Italeri. I got it more than a decade ago. I'm sorry but they are probably out of stock or production now.
