Soft Touch Holly in 2 Minutes - Low Evergreen Foundation Plant - In this video I go over Soft Touch Hollies in two minutes. This is a low growing Holly that is perfect in a foundation or border planting. They are very low maintenance, but do benefit from additional water during the summer. I have seen this plant badly damaged from dog urine, so plant it out of high traffic areas.

For some reason I havent had great luck with these. Seem to grow extremely slow. I prefer the dwarf yaupon holly! Love your videos!

I would definitely recommend dwarf youpon over soft touch. Not even close really, but the soft touch looks so good on a container that they sell like crazy

Jim, how can I tell if I am purchasing a soft touch holly and not the compactus? They are not labeled but the nursery owner says they are soft touch. Is there a way I can send you a picture? Thanks

I enjoy your videos. I don't see many that talk about zone 8.Which is where I am. Im starting a nursery , Taking it slow building up with my plants. I will retire in 5 yrs the plan is to have a good variety when that time comes. Can you tell me plants that are good for this area . Also do you sell cuttings. Thanks john
