I saw a photo of this plant and immediately had to have it. I would advise of 'robust' horizontal root growth in a pot. Meaning, I have bought three of these (at two different times) and on each one I could not get the plant out of the plastic nursery pot and had to use clippers to cut the pot away. I divided one prior to planting and it was quite an undertaking. The next time, I may try a pruning saw!

Good mourning jim great videos I've learned a lot from u thank u.I saw one of ur videos somehow I didn't get the name of plant .I'd like to get one I will describe it .I believe it was in ur yard taller than u .It had I believe purple leaves and pink flowers .I'm in nj zone 7 .Hopefully it would be hardy here .If u know plant I'm talking bout maybe send me a picture to confirm thanks wiliam

Or: Purple Leaf Sand Cherry; Or, Weigela Alexandra Dark Purple Pink Blooming, or, Ruby Loropetalum, or, Shadow Magic Crape Myrtle.
