Can showa sumi lose intensity or change spot and come back with time? Or is just my showa's sumi going off. It's from dainichi

It’s quite normal in younger examples when they start growing and water temperature will have a big impact. If it’s an older fish that’s lost it’s Sumi there’s a higher chance it won’t come back.
