I need to start reviewing more HOSIM rc cars. After I saw your review of the recent X-07 I did one too. Luckily I didn't run into the same motor issue you had, but it's easy to see how that kind of thing might happen with that rc. But it really performed well beyond my expectations, even at the skatepark. Turns out hosim rc cars are pretty good budget options.

They're nice little bashers for kids, close to hobby grade. The only thing I didn't like about the one I had years ago was that it had the all in one esc/receiver and a 5 pin servo. Still worth the money and easy enough to upgrade though.

Great review, this might be my first RC car... But what REALLY impressed me is the 2-door hardtop Tracker I saw parked out there! Why punish us with midroll adds, I never let any of them run if I can catch them, I doubt anyone else does either, put two adds up front and two at the end, I will let them run, and I encourage others to do the same. Most of us multi task, a midroll add can run from 3 or 4 mins to an hour plus, usually louder than the video itself, with subject matter we usually don't care about, when they come on we have to stop, run to the pc ,and shut it down. Midroll adds drive viewers to add free subscriptions and add free browsers, which diverts / eliminates the revenue stream away from content providers / channel owners.
