A super complicated & intellect-demanding achievement? No silly, it's just a speed run. You have 24 minutes to destroy all 5 shards & complete the mission. I am aware of three compositions to make this work: Void Rays, Wrathwalker / Arbiter, or Dark Templar. I prefer the Void Ray strat, where you just fly an army of voids around the map decimating everything in your path with epic laser beams! Use your top bar powers appropriately, saving Time Stop for the shards... and watch out for Ravens!

I tried this with voids and just couldn't for the life of me get it. Tried with DT/Stalker combo, did it in 23 minutes first try! Thanks for your guides on the mastery achievements. PS: Do voice acting work immediately!

Good one. Simple strategy with great execution. I have this achievement on all three servers, but it's time bugged, so I never truly "earned" it. The first time I got it, they actually gave me the pop-up at over 25 minutes!

I had no idea about that! I would wager that every attempt where I ran over the stated requirement, I stopped & restarted. I never thought to just keep going lol.

@@IndigosGaming Yeah. It only happened because I kept losing my whole force to the final Void Shard AOE, so I decided to just try to beat my best times. I had no idea that 25:24 (or so) would be good enough for the achievement! On the other servers, it took me a little over 24 to get it. Makes me wonder what the cut-off is. 26 minutes? 25:30?

I think they must've patched this *somehow* cause with 12 void rays on the first one I can barely put a dent in it, I suspect it's the 5000hp compared to 4 damage from the rays cause of the armor. What worked better was spam DTs, done in before 17 minutes (17:30 was my best time for destroying the 3rd one with rays), especially if I guardian shell the 4th one, ability the shard, then time stop and ability the 5th. Fun times

Adepts with Energizers are another strategy that works wonders for this achievement. With Mass Recall, Guardian Shell, and Time Stop (and maxed Auxiliary) you can approach it similarly as with Void Rays, but on the 4th shard just shade the Adepts towards it, Time Stop, destroy it and Mass Recall them home. Repeat for the 5th (without Time Stop). Solar Lance as necessary and you can Chrono Surge for upgrades. The benefit of the Adepts is that the Ravens tend to not use Seeker Missiles which can cripple a Void Ray fleet if you aren't quick with micro. For the same cost, two Adepts are a little sturdier and do similar damage (slightly less to armored, but much more to light enemies which are significant in this mission) than a Void Ray. The Energizers let you reinforce your army nearly instantly. The downside is you can't fly, but I found that doesn't impact much in this mission (plus you can gather gas pickups as you go). Void Rays are cooler though, so they got that going for them.

Super interesting! I love Energizers, but completely forget that they let Adepts shoot up (hit air units) in the campaign. That sounds like a fun strategy, one that I had not heard of before! Will have to find some time to try this out, thanks!

They have changed something the shards are a lot harder to kill i thought i was on brutal and had the same make up on the 1st shard and got halfway down before shields ran out

Yeah the 4th and 5th shards absolutely blast you with void energy. I finished the 4th with 31 rays and as soon as I entered the field of the 5th, my troops were cut in half. 10 seconds later and I'm down to 8. This is bonkers
