That's a tall order! :) I've done a few others, but I generally only do things that really impress me. There are so many HOSTILE books that are great, I have to pick and choose them.

Your doctor is interesting because in the Hostile Rulebook there's a section on "what those skill levels actually mean" and according to that a doctor with Liaison is also trained in psychotherapy.

@@HeadHunterSix I've heard it said that people become therapists to figure out what's wrong with themselves. :) I've know a couple of counselors in person that I would never seek help from. LOL

Recently purchased and enjoying the learning process... One challenge I'm having is remembering where the multitude of reference charts are..the only solution I see is to copy them all to a dedicated page so I can find them more easily..

On my solo play throughs, I do have several occasions where I have trouble finding the chart I'm looking for using the PDF. If I weren't recording them, I'd probably be using my physical copy with some sticky tab book marks.

@@ARKavli 10-4 so as a PDF owner I think I may resort to printing myself a quick reference guide. Unrelated question: parsec travel from the main star map to the smaller detailed sections. Does one just count hexes from the main map to the respective edge and continue counting to get total distance?

@@waltdog123 Correct. On page 15 of solo you'll find the large map and you just count hexes (1 hex = 1 parsec). On the following pages you'll find zoomed in B&W maps of each sector with more system info.

Your print library for Hostile is impressive. I've got all the supplements, but pretty much only the major volumes are in print form. But the main stuff (as well as Solo) are just too impressive for just a PDF on a tablet IMO.

Some years ago I culled a bunch of my RPG books that I hadn't played in decades. This year I spend my "health incentive" points on gift cards and snatched them all up. I ran a VTT Hostile campaign earlier this year, but I'd love to get back to a real tabletop.

Could you do a review of the Traveller version of Zozer SOLO (old) book?

Probably not. The general idea is similar, though the Traveller version adds a space navy campaign. Space battles are an important part of a classic Traveller campaign, not so much HOSTILE. Zozer offers two free solo documents for Traveller in their freebies section that you might want to check out.

Not yet. My next Hostile Solo will use one of the locations in Zozer's new Colony Wars release though. I haven't decided when or where though.

Can I ask would you rather tell a solo player who likes alot of depth to pick up this and the setting book or the Hostile Rules and core setting and add your own stuff in for soloving problems? Also how well do the other supplements work into the the Hostile Solo? Thanks again :-)

I would suggest all three. :) I've done two play through series on my channel, and the solo book really has all you need, but I prefer to play with a bit more detail myself, so incorporated the Hostile rulebook, as well. I prefer to play through scenes instead of playing the scene back as Hostile Solo recommends, but the solo book is designed so well for the setting, and has great tables and personality conflict rules, that I'd definitely suggest it.

You mentioned using another supplement to expand the psych eval options, could you tell us what that was?

Sure. I use the Tricube Tales Solo mostly (it has many useful tables and easy to use), and the UNE (Universal NPC Emulator). I added affiliate links in the description to DriveThruRPG.
