What makes this EXE so scary is how personal it feels. NMI isn't some god from space, or an evil AI bent on destroying everything, it's something much, much more grounded. It's a Japanese soul set out to torture any dysfunctional family foolish enough to allow it into their circle. It does not kill; it does something much worse: it spreads fear, terror, despair. It makes you feel alone, isolated. No one will understand what you're going through, because no one will believe that some video game is making you sick. No one will believe that a ghost of all things is after you. NMI is not trying to take over the world, it's just here to mess with people. *Specific* people. This EXE has the potential to be something so amazing. The theme of stealing a child's innocence, robbing them of the escapism found from video games and forcing them to face the real problems they're trying to ignore is such a raw and real type of fear that not a lot of media explores. This doesn't even account for the sheer horror a parent faces when they realize an unknown entity is toying with their child, and that entity was only unleashed because of their foolishness. I like to think that NMI only messes with children suffering from neglect or other familial problems, like a parent buying an innocent-looking Sonic the Hedgehog game to keep their child satiated just so they don't have to actually parent the child. It creates a very interesting dynamic, as you can almost see NMI as a punishment for the parent's neglectful behavior. It's such an intriguing concept, and I cannot wait to see where the EXE community takes it. Also, this song slams super hard. Been listening on repeat since it came out. Great work!

Thats what I love about NMI it isn’t truly wanting to kill. It wants to cause as much fear and delusion as physically possible which in results causes it to end up causing massive effect to everyone. Trauma on its victims, regret and guilt on those who didnt believe, terror in those who heard of it and grief on those who watched the victims decline unaware of NMI’s presence

The fact that NMI isn’t a space or AI but a Japanese spirit who is set to torture forever those who falls into his trap is horrifying, and he is like something to teach parents to teach their kid the best, just like how punishment works, and gives they trauma and a lot of horrible feelings, imagine the horrified face of the parents once they found out this, and the worst part is that NMI does NOT kill anyone, but makes the person suicide, Mr.innocence really has potential and I hope he gets even better in the future. bless the guy/girl who created him
