Thanks for the great video! I am hosting open houses for other agents, ( although, getting the 7-day and newer listings is tricky because many agents are either hosting them themselves or are very protective of their listings.), and I am getting some folks who are willing to sign up, and I feel as though I am building a rapport with them during the open house, but I am not getting any clients from these contacts! I know that I am probably wanting instant gratification, but it's frustrating! Is it just a fact that you get one client from endless hostings of open houses?

Honestly I don’t like hosting more than 2 Open Houses a month for my team. It’s a waste of my Saturday and time consuming with no compensation. It’s very rare that you pick up clients. However it’s a part of The process of learning but it really shouldn’t be Expected that buyers Agents host OH for free. If an Agent will pay another Agent to show a home , why do they think differently for Open Houses?

This is why, as a homeowner, I never allow a real estate agent to do an open house with my home. The chances of the open house leading to the sale of my home are actually quite low. The real estate agent is doing it for selfish purposes which is essentially free marketing and trying to find new clients. If you're a homeowner, don't let them do this! Either that or give them 1/2 of 1% for selling your home! I never pay buyers commission anymore either! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The misconception that the seller pays the buyers commission is of ignorant bliss. The buyer is the one bringing ALL of the money to the table. Without a buyer you have no money to even pay your own agent.
