This episode was so fantastic. Ruth and Bob would make dream friends and neighbors. I loved how this entire video was filmed. I felt like I was part of the get together. Everything looked delicious, I learned so much about how to lay out a charcuterie board, and the barn is awesome. I was watching the end and Ruth and Bob said how much all these people meant to them, and then they prayed and thanked our Heavenly Father. I was very touched, and at that point realized why there is so much calm and peace and that’s because there is so much caring and gratitude for others, and that God is present.

Absolutely love Ruth and Bob and their hospitality that happens in their stunning stylish and yet cozy and lovely home. Magnolia Network needs to scoop them up for a show..Their property is breath taking and the food she lovingly makes is the cherry on top. Being a calm, unflappable hostess is a skill I only dream of attaining. I stress when I am having 4 women in the garden for lunch. Moist and sweet cornbread... yes, please! Not being afraid to entertain and bless people in your home... that's the ultimate gift to put out in the world!!!! I do feel that gorgeous barn, and your incredible cooking, did have something to do with them feeling it was the best dinner party ever. Your surroundings and ambience is everything to me. Where I am, is as important as who I am with , and what we are eating. I am sure , anyone lucky enough to be at your table has an unforgettable experience because of your vision. Everyone should be blessed with a Bob of their very own! What a treasure.. making that English garden with the stone wall and fireplace is every girls dream come true!!!! I loved this episode! Ruth is an amazing host. She was so right about a party being about the guests and making them feel special and thought of. Pulling in the same direction only works if a couple is well yoked. Ruth and Bob are well yoked and it shows. I got tickled when she yelled his name during the stress time. Been there myself. Ruth is such a precious soul and her home is breathtaking ❤ But I must say as a southerner, I had to clutch my pearls when she made her cornbread😂. I am absolutely certain it is wonderfully delicious but down here cornbread involves iron skillets, buttermilk and many say absolutely no sugar. I disagree though, I like a pinch in mine❤
