A large fisherman's lure swivel would prevent the cord from winding up. I didn't want to read all 563 comments to see if someone else had mentioned that. Superb design! So, one needs to set up a Victorinox annual get-together and contest to see who comes up with the most ingenious idea.... I feel Felix would put everyone to shame!

Einen großen Angelwirbel mit Kugellager in die Schnur mit eingebaut. Dann dreht sichs nur in eine Richtung und die Schnur nicht auf. Dein Video ist einfach genial! Danke!

Genau Colin... ein kleiner Wirbel tuts auch! Wegen dem Wind, drehte sich das Ding auf beide Seiten. So wurde die Schnur die aufgedreht. LG Felix

Wow, a great adaptation of the technique! I've seen someone use the power of a stream to turn the meat. Your method is good, as long as you have beer! If no beer, then bark works good on the vanes. Rotiserie is the best way to cook chicken!

THAT is simply SUPERB!! Excellent! I imagine after some time, the twist in the cord might send it spinning the other way, until unwound again - then back into the original direction, once more... but as you had mentioned, it doesn't matter which way, as long as it is turning. This is a completely genius idea! Thanks, Felix! :)

Wahnsinn Felix. Dir gehen die Ideen wohl nie aus. Einfach mal wieder spitze und ein echtes "Immler-Victorinox Projekt". Vielleicht solltest du dir noch 'ne Feldflasche mitnehmen, dann kannst du einen Teil vom Bier aufheben, das Hähnchen damit marinieren und den Rest zum Essen trinken. Ich bin jedenfalls begeistert. Schönes Video, Felix. super Idee, mit der Wärmerotation. Ist wie so ein Weihnachtsteil, unten brennen Kerzen. Oben dreht sich ein "Windrad" und dadurch drehen sich Engel, die dann an schellen vorbei kommen und klingeln. Smile, dabei bekommt man richtig hunger. :-)

Felix Immler Not sure if it still exists but many yrs ago approximately 50 to be precise I attended a camp near lake laserne ( probably the wrong spelling) called ITC ( International Teen Camp) I just made the cut off at 13! All I remember was the beautiful Swiss alps we used to go climbing every weekend for miles such a beautiful country! Crossing crevasses going up up up and eventually hitting the snow and spending the nite at a beautiful Swiss chalet cabin! Oh boy those were the days!!! Such a beautiful country! Not sure if it’s still called this but I vaguely remember a coin called a (centeem) again not sure of the spelling! And we took Swiss Air over! Well it was fun reminiscing hope all is well and that you all are staying safe

@@FelixImmler For the marinade: 1 dl chili sauce, 1 dl mustard, i dl oil. Add garlic, "Five Spices", vinegar,, and pepper to taste. Simple but tastes good! Works as a dipping sauce too.
