I started playing Pikmin 2 again recently, trying to keep as many pikmin from dying as possible. I restarted the whole thing many times when losing half my little buddies until I looked up the savestate hotkey and now I just hit F1 every time I accomplish something and Shift+F1 when I fuck up.

Managed to find a scanned copy of the original game booklet online with the moveset. I figure Arin either has found it himself or moved on but just in case: Mimi's moveset: Crescent shot is apparently left or right + kick + punch. Stomp kick is left, right or down + kick. And Thunder break (whatever that is) is apparently after jumping while coming back down you press down + kick + punch. Shoulder throw might come in handy to counter some attacks cuz it says to use right before an opponents attack, just press kick + punch. There's more but not gonna list them all here.

Wow, my mind is exploding right now. The second the intro to the game started, one of my earliest memories of life came back to me. I used to watch my Dad play this when i was 3 years old, my brother and i called it "The Jump and Kick Game", lol. This was my first introduction to fighting games and to an anime art style (well, for that, it was either this or Bubblegum Crisis). When i saw the title of the video, i thought there was something vaguely familiar about it, and the intro bashed my brains in with nostalgia. Arin was running the game with the Dolphin Emulator and using parsec the stream the game to Dan's computer so Dan could see what was happening. There was at least one time where he had controller issues with the game and in the video you can see him configurating controller settings the Dolphin emulator.
