Looks good! Our favorite Christmas time cookies are Ginger Creams. My mother-in-law gave me the 1980 Better Homes & Gardens all-time favorite cake & cookie recipes cookbook. When my daughter got married, she asked for the recipe. This year, my oldest granddaughter assumed the mantle of making them for our gathering.

Awwwe it was so great to see your daughter in the kitchen with you Cathrine! Your daughter and my youngest son are the same age. My son will be 21 on May 31st, 2023. I also have a 22 y.o. son and a 25 y.o. daughter. My favorite Christmas cookie I think would probably be the No Bake Stained Glass Church Window Christmas Cookies. It's been a very long time since I've had them so I hope I still like them lol! But a very close second would be a warm, ooey gooey, chocolate chip cookie or a triple chocolate chip/chunck cookie. I love the original no bake cookie too that has quick oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, butter, & sugar in it (we call them Doo Doo cookies around my parts of Oklahoma lol). So many favorites I can't recall them all lol! Not all are just for Christmas either lol. Anyway, your Hot Cocoa Cookies look devine!! I love some good ol hot cocoa on a cold winter day, especially like today as cold as it is! So if those cookies taste just like hot cocoa... Then I'm all for it! Pretty sure this is my favorite cookie so far, although there’s a couple close contenders. My Daughter loves the Swiss Miss Peppermint Hot Cocoa. We should be able to make some Peppermint Hot Cocoa cookies using this recipe. I prefer the regular Hot Choc, so we’ll make 2 batches. Happy Holidays….

look yummy. I mix my cookies on my kitchenaid stand mixer. I have RA and stirring stuff like this can irritate it. I use the paddle attachment and quickly stir in the chocolate chips or whatever.
