5-8k person warm weather events a large enough crowd for a lemonade vendor in your opinion? I'd like to push 250 or so beverages at these weekly.

5-8k might get you 250 depends on the crowd and other vendors there... usually when they say 5-8k for an event that's what they hope show up.. might be more might be less.

@@MacDaddysDawgz Awesome, thanks for the reply! Our local event has been going on once a week for over 30 years. Summer months get 5-8k and believe it or not that's the off season with year round warm weather. Building a brand here I think should do pretty well. Thanks again!

I have a question I am a hot dog vendor I go all over with that being said here goes in the city of Clinton they want a copy of everything I have insurance health permit car insurance insurance on my car and certificate of liability with additional insurance that puts the city of Clinton on my insurance and my insurance goes up and they charge me 25 dollars is this bull ceap

Hey Bobby, congrats on being out there and doin' it, you're way ahead of me. Ben has a ton of videos and information and if you watch enough, you'll realize that there's all types of personalities in our Government. Give a small minded person some authority and they want to be a demi-god of Importance. Ben says this a lot, "Show me the Code!". But understand there's a lot of gears and misinformation. Most of what you say they're asking for you should already have to be legal. Most of all States require that you have Auto Insurance anyway, and although the State sets the general guidelines, counties, parishes, districts, cities, and townships can have variances. Used to be in certain counties here in Florida you had to register your food vehicle and tie it to a location. So if you wanted to drive somewhere else, you had to get a permit for that location too. Basically, the Health Department didn't want to try to track you down, they wanted to know where to find you. Bad actors are usually the cause for a lot of these requirements. That and those ambulance chasers :) But in my opinion, what they're asking for is pretty standard stuff. Jumping through a few extra hoops may actually be a good thing, it actually cuts down on your competition. You're maybe at a point where you choose not to vend because it's more work. How many other vendors have done the same? So the guy/gal who takes those extra steps is the only one vending in the city, you can bet they have a captive audience. Just stop into a staples or UPS store and make 4-5 copies of your policies. Buy a few cheap 3 ring binders, some of those clear document protectors, put all your documents in there, and have it ready. Yeah, you may have to spend some money adding the city or event to your insurance, but that's where you can possible shop around to see who does it for free. I think at one time NEXT allowed me to simply add someone online, get the rider, print it out as say a PDF, and email that. Once that's done, usually good for a year. Hope this helps, good luck!

First of all this video and most of his videos are about hot dog carts. In most states you can not have a deep fryer on a hot dog cart, but you can in a concession trailer. If you are looking into frying in a trailer that is most likely a different code for your state!
