Hot Flocking While Powder Coating

In this video we're going to talk about hot flocking while powder coating.
Many of you may have heard the rumor that you're not suppose to hot flock when powder coating, and in all actuality people do it all the time, and for many different reasons. The rule of thumb is you should not HAVE to hot flock while powder coating. Your system and ground should be good enough that you don't have to, but there are many different reason you may want to hot flock, including speeding up productivity.

Congrats on the new shop. Much better without a broken down car right in the middle of the shop. Looks a LOT more professional. I am also very pleased with the more professional tone of you vids. They are becoming much more "watchable" than the previous ones. You are making great strides and I wish you plenty of success with your business. BTW - The Peace at the end is way more tolerable than the hang loose.....

Thank you much for the support and kind words. One of our things we’re focusing on is bring good content, that has to be delivered (as you said) in a watch able way. It takes some time, but it’s good to know we’re getting there!

I've come across colors like that before. I think they add a flattening agent to it (the white looking specs in the powder) which acts kind of like a clear powder and "thins" the color down so it's harder to get good solid coverage. Nice vid on hot flocking!

Powder coating machine and flocking machine are they different machines or one machine and different spray gun😅 ?

They're the same system; the process is just different. In one process you spray when the part is cold, the other, you spray when the piece is hot.
