Here’s the thing: I’ve seen episodes of this show before. 100% if those were gypsy men, mom wouldn’t have cared. Because they’re almost as insular as the Amish but like Dallas said they are basically taught to flaunt their bodies and get married before they can finish high school. So many of those episodes have the bride to be and brides maids dressed in a way that might get them tossed out of a public pool and they’re expected to take it if a random gypsy man who is likely their cousin and his friends grab her by the arm and harass her until she gives him her number and agrees to date them. So many girls on that show seem like they’re held hostage by the man and their community and have no parental backing. It’s freaking terrifying.
