Actually, Claire is his ex-girlfriend, and I wish they had gone more into how that whole thing went down because she seems cute, and I really like that photograph she has of her and him together (I have the comics, too).

@@skylarrossspeedpaintstheory Honestly, yes, in several possible scenarios that all range the gambit, and simultaneously heartwarming and tearjerking at the same time because I know what it's like to have a parent with a screw loose; they mean well, but they're not in the right world... Alternatively, him having a kid could be the hinge that causes a total flip on him and he now has motivation to better himself. Even going further: He's roughly 40-ish in the cartoon, so he could possibly even already have a kid that he's lost contact with prior to the series before he lost his mind. In fact, a wild theory I have that's sparked purely by voice acting reference is he could actually be Gosalyn's real father (since his and Gosalyn's VAs also voiced Chaz and Chuckie Finster in Rugrats), but no one is particularly aware of that possibility because perhaps he lost custody years prior and wasn't aware that she'd been raised by her grandfather (presumably her maternal grandfather) or ended up in an orphanage. Neither of this information would affect the status quo if it were true. 👀
