I made the exact mattress with out ever seeing one before 5 months ago. But I made individual long sausage pillows and put them inside the Cover with long zips down both sides to pull them out easily so as to wash the main Cover, the individual sausages also had small zips so as to remove or add more stuffing and also to empty them to wash if they got spills on them. My great grandson of 3 years loves it so I slso made a matching pillow.

I love this new quick mattress idea! This is super great for little kids who like sleep overs at Gramma's house...take their bed with them and feel all snuggly and warm. This is a wonderful idea! Thank you for sharing this idea. I would add/sew on some long shoe laces or ties to one end of it to tie up to make a nice rolled-up bundle for easy carrying. What a super ides!!

I made one about 20yrs ago when my eldest son was a toddler. I recently made one to fit my youngest sons single bed, cos he wanted a "higher matress". Lol - its awesome if you have kiddies, can be rolled up and taken with for kids to nap or play on when you go out. This one is beautiful, love the printed fabric

I LOVE this idea. I would use it slightly differently, by leaving out the stuffing at certain spots to allow my lower back/buttocks and neck to align more comfortably for me. This would even be portable!!! I could take it traveling!!!, oh, I'm so going to do this!

@@jenwaller1064 I wouldn't put this outdoors... it's made from fabric and if it was outdoors, it could get ruined. That would be like putting your mattress outdoors... if it got wet, it could ruin it... I do agree with you it would need a strong thread. This is not a thick mattress, or a strong mattress... it is made for fun... to take naps on... or to watch TV on. Thank you for your reply.

Tip- after making this the stuffing quickly compressd and lost its softness after only two ppl had laid on it. I found someone giving away a free sofa. Got it and cut off all of the padding and foam etc and stuffed with that. I cut the sofa frame apart and used it in a campfire lol. Total cost for my mattress was $24 and some manual labor :)

Столько конители! Готовый матрас можно купить (фабричный, упругий) за те же деньги. Ну может чуть дороже. Но в целом, мастерица- молодец! Столько кропотливого труда вложено.

That's exactly what I was thinking for my camper!! I have I bunch of those skinner long body pillows i made, we call them leg pillows cuz my daughter and myself use them to sleep between my knees so back doesn't hurt, but I'm definitely going to be making this for camping!!
