Tina, I love you and your reviews so much. It has been such a joy to see you become so successful, and I really am so glad that you have sponsorship deals like this - you really do deserve it. The thing is, what makes your reviews so damn enjoyable and successful is that I have always felt that while you don't criticise, your opinion comes from a critical analysis; you take the good with the bad, highlighting what works and what doesn't, providing an unbiased opinion on whether you think something is good or not. Based upon your opinion, I will generally nearly always look at the product in more detail, and buy it myself to see if it works for me (which, in most cases, they normally do). Yet, this video doesn't seem so unbiased. Indeed, while this may have worked from a "first impressions" perspective (in that it was informative to the extent that you briefly showed us the products and explained what they were) I don't think this video critically reviewed anything, like we are all so used to seeing. Would have loved to have seen these products in more detail, too. Just my thoughts.

This video was sponsored by Sephora as I mentioned in the video and the requirement was to keep it under 10minutes so this didn't allow me to do a full in depth review for each product because there were so many. Nevertheless all the opinions were genuinely my own and I would never pretend to like a product for the sake of a sponsorship. Loads of KZbinrs have been sponsored for ages but Australia now has new laws that make it compulsory to announce it and make it clear to subscribers/consumers. Chances are you've seen a lot of biased reviews and never even known 😶

in her description it doesn't say its sponsored but the opinions are all her own, which is a common phrase on sponsored videos, the fact she didn't say so mean it's probably in her contract that she can't talk negatively about them

Appletide. yes it is sponsored. its is more that she didn't state that the fact it was sponsored wouldn't effect what she said, 'opinions are all my own' 'doesn't effect my review of the product' you'll often see and hear those phrases on sponsored material that allowed the youtubers to give their genuine opinion, tina's does not which would suggest her reviews (or, as others have mentioned, lack there of) have been effected by the fact its a sponsored video such as the company has final say in the video or she is not allowed to speech negatively about the products etc.

Seriously, people need to stop complaining about this being sponsored. No one in their right mind would turn down/blast an opportunity to work with a MAJOR beauty company. It's an opportunity to expand on her brand/business, open doors to work with other companies and more opportunities. Because let's face it, being an influencer on social media isn't a financially stable job without ads, promos, and sponsors. Look at all the youtubers that panicked with all the recent pulling of ads. Being an influencer is just as much hustling and work as any other job and when opportunities arise to do more, you take it. And of course it's not going to be like other Tina Tries It videos, they gave her over 10 products for one video that's meant to be under 10 minutes when normally she reviews 1 product for a 10 minute video. I'm certain if given the option, Tina would've preferred doing a few videos or going longer to focus on each product seperately.

I really like the combination of your hair color with the Sunday my prince will come products, they're very complimentary. 🙂 The clay is really interesting though I'm not sure if it would work in mine. My hair is very fine and tends to be extremely flat, my friend once spent a ton of time teasing it and adding products only for it to be flat in less then 30 minutes.

The mascara looked a little clumpy but here's a tip! - if you let the bottle sit in a mini hot water bath, it'll start to become more liquid-y and there will be less clumps formed 😊💕 I'm so happy for you that you got teamed up with Sephora! I love this video, and am so glad and happy that you got sponsored!! For who's saying her opinion feels biased or forced cuz it's sponsored, well it didn't seem so. She had many products on hand so she couldn't actually review them all and show her full opinion about it, she even said it should be under 10 minutes, so she did quite a good job in making this video. I felt everything she said was genuine. Some feel its forced cuz she said good things about all the products, well maybe she really did like them, plus she's so happy and excited that she got sponsored by SEPHORA, it's quite a big thing for her, so its normal that she would give a good review about it. This video was amazing, good job Tina!! :)
