Hey Tulok, a thing I recently learned is that you can reveal the Ordina Black Knife Assassins by having the Sentry Torch in your offhand or even on your back. It reveals them and you can just kill them so they don't bother you. Not an issue in this run but might be cool to know for future ones if you have issues with them (I usually have issues with them because I'm not very good at the game).

i am fully aware that this wouldn’t change your opinion of spells vs weapons, but i feel like this particular spell set can get REALLY good DPS with the right equipment and setup! like, disgustingly good. with 60 faith and this setup i was regularly getting 3000+ damage with each charged cast of O, Flame and even with Flame of the Fell God and Burn o Flame on Malenia-not to mention those last two knocking her over! i just think it’d be super cool to see how much more fun your experience with spellcasting is if you went with like one of the most optimized possible spellcasting builds lol noting that the fact that this much equipment is required is obviously a big flaw of the build BUT let me tell you you will feel like a VERY powerful firebender with every fire spell in the game - fire scorpion charm - godfrey icon - flock’s canvas - flame, grant me strength - golden vow - flame-shrouding cracked tear - faith knot crystal tear - fire monk seal in off-hand - fully upgraded erdtree seal
