I still have a 06 Monte SS 5.3 w/110k miles. Probably the most problem free car I've ever owned. It's parked next to my 05 Corvette.....Chevy baby!

So cool! Had a 2006 Grand Prix GXP. Miss that car, it would smoke the front wheels easy. 4t65e transaxle was the weak link however.

Loved this. Truly modern "Hot Rodding" which most people have given up on for multiple reasons. Thanks for showing it can still be done. Would love to see a rear engine gen 4 Camaro (remove front motor) since they are plentiful and cheap but this was awesome. All this to boldly go...

The Schumacher Cat Spin! . The Schumacher Cat XLS AWD/4WD of yesteryear could spin around in it's own wheelbase length. Super lightweight. Really fast 360° spins at full heat. Won ALOT of races with that car. Thank for the cool vid, , from my favorite crash test dummies!!. Now take a old classic Impala, and do the re-transplant,,, version 2.2, , on THAT version,,of Hot Rod Garage I challenge thee!!,, Lower thine Bridge and Accept, , 'O' sacker of City's!!!!!!. Motortrend is too franchised to get involved with anything that doesn’t include motortrend in the event name or have them as the moderators/ giving them their video shoot time and control... like everything I’ve ever seen their name be apart of they’re always “boss”, especially prime time shows.. and cleverer does a ppv thing so wouldn’t be acceptable by their “standards”..

They have modified it with stronger transmissions and Turbo charging the engines. This was all done like 4 years ago. I think it run a 10.4 in the 1/4 mile.
