In the not to distant future we’ll all be looking back at these guys/gals of KZbin as the pioneers of this type of entertainment venue. I enjoy this unscripted gear-head/ wrenching/ revival/ road trip stuff way more than anything that Hollywood puts out. Seeing young KZbinr gear-heads like these gives me hope for this whacked-out country we’re currently living in.

Everyone I watch on KZbin was there. Junkyard Digs, Dylan McCool, Thunderhead, Vice grip garage. Seems like an awesome time. Maybe I can bring my bone stock cavalier 2.2. Lol . Thanks for the great content.

Takes me back to the 10,000 mile "one lap of America" I did as a 26 year old back in '87, flying in from New Zealand. I wanted to see my Ford heroes, the Bob and Bill kick some Chevy ass; Mr Glidden and Mr Elliott did just that ! On the day I arrived in LA, I bought an old 400-powered Mercury Monterey for $400 and headed for the Texas Motoplex; listening to U2's The Joshua Tree Album while passing near Joshua trees. Next weekend I was at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Then carried on through to NY, stopped at Boston to photograph the Cheers sitcom bar. Niagra Falls, Henry Ford Museum and world HQ in Dearborn. Chicago through to South Dakota to look at some larger than life Presidents, through to Boulder Colorado, where I was gonna meet with the famous KZbinr "Mork from Ork". Chased by a bison in Yellowstone, drove through a Redwood tree in Oregon. 30 days later, back in LA, the starter wouldn't start, so sadly, the Merc and I parted ways, with it behind an F350 tow truck. She was a great mile eater and gas was real cheap, and my accommodation for about half my visit. 2 days later and with a ton more fantastic memories I was back in NZ, telling anyone and everyone about what we Kiwi's call our BIG O.E.(Overseas Experiance) !!
