This brought back memories! My uncle had a 97 F350 (green/white) that we drive the wheels off of, and this was a great reminder of that powerhouse. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the early 50s trucks and the Chevy 2 Novas as well. Great mod and keep on truckin!!

Seeing that reminds me of my dads old farm truck from when I was a kid, candy apple red 1992 F-350 dually, my favorite part was that when you down shifted it, it made a sound identical to a jake brake, oh how times were so much simpler then lol! Great video Jeff!

I loved the race, so much so that I'm wanting to watch NASCAR again for the first time in years. The fact they set a track record for lead changes sums up how good it was this year. The ones complaining seem to be focused on it not delivering what they wanted, instead of just enjoying the friggin show. Anyway... Good video Jeff! (Love the RP! All the world's a stage)

One of the HOAs in a neighborhood we deliver building supplies to, had a no truck rule. Every delivery for building supplies to build the houses had to go through some farmer's field, and he was charging them a lot of money. Even the contractors had to go through the field. One of the other drivers told me they didn't let a moving truck in, they had to shuttle stuff from the moving truck to the house in a pickup. Mixing up the content keeps everyone from getting bored with the same thing.

Jeff. Here's my thoughts on Atlanta. I was actually at the race, watching from turn 4. I absolutely loved it. Some of the best racing I've seen in forever. I love the idea of superspeedway racing on a smaller mile and half style track. However, I'm on the same page. They do not need to turn every track into Mini-Daytona. Leave all the others as a normal track experience

Here’s my HOA story, my father used to install windows and he had a trailer for work. One day he came home, and accidentally hit the garage door! Once we repainted the house they finally noticed this dent. They made Replace the door or we’ll fine you! And another one, the driveway had a lot of damage from previous pressure washing attempts, and his suburban leaks oil like most GM cars so it stained the driveway. They made us Paint the driveway! “It was dirty”. And another time I was outside cleaning the Camry and the HOA person was sitting there in his Red Kia Soul, just watching me like a creep!

I owned that 86 F-350 four door. IDI. Sold it with 380k miles, never any engine work done at all. The best truck ever made. In 88 the electronics started showing up in these diesels.

I got an HOA story. We were moving out of my house, which we found out later we shouldn't have done that, but anyways, we borrowed a neighbor's utility trailer, just a six foot by 12 foot, nothing mass, we left it parked in front of our house for one night, and we got a ticket. Interesting that you can still chuck peanut shells on the floor at Texas Steakhouse. Here in Australia, in the early/mid 90s, we had Lonestar Steakhouse where you could do the same. It was stopped in the early 00s due Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), now Workplace Health and safety (WHS), concerns. I personally didn't do it, because my crush at the time was a server and she told us (her brother was my best mate) how much she hated it. In case anyone is wondering, which I doubt, nothing came of the crush :)

AirFest at Mac Dill this weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 8am. Show starts at 12 noon. If you've not been, GO. If you have been, then you know how awesome it is. Word of advice, dress for full sun, bring water, and a seat.

Now this one is modeled damn near perfect! Even the turn signal sound is almost exactly like it sounds in real lift! I am curious however if there is a stock exhaust that you can use. Same with the turbo that is on this a 6.9 IDI (which stands for indirect injection) though there were quite a few aftermarket turbo kits for it such as Banks, Hypermax, ATS, etc which this seems to be modeled after The 6.9 was never offered with a turbo from the factory. Ford didn’t offer a factory turbo option until 1993 on the 7.3 IDI. Small history lesson: Prior to the current Ford in house built 6.7 Powerstroke offered in 3/4 ton and up Ford trucks all of the diesels in Ford pickup trucks from the good old 6.9 IDI in this truck to the 6.4 Powerstroke in the 2008-2010 were built by International. The 6.9 came out in I believe 1984, was enlarged to 7.3 in late ‘87 as an ‘88, then in ‘93 was the first time Ford offered a factory turbo 7.3 along side of the normal naturally aspirated 7.3. Then in late ‘94 as a 1995 model year truck Ford brought brought out what was later going to be called the Powerstroke, a 7.3 with direct injection. And that was used until the early 2000s when the 6.0 Powerstroke (I can go on but I’m well past the relevance to this body style Ford in the video lol) Enjoy!

Great wheel, solid shifter, only complaint is that without a way to secure the pedals I can't stomp on the brakes without my wheeled chair and/or the pedal base moving in the opposite direction lol! Curious about your comment on not floating the gears. I had a slave cylinder go out in my 1995 F150 (With a 1989 F350 Trans swapped in) and I was able to float gears no problem. I even sent the fluid out to Blackstone labs to be tested and they didn't report higher than normal levels of metal in the oil.
